Long time ago I heard a tale that moved me. It was a tale of a wise man. It stuck we me and pushed me out of "I can learn it any time I want zone". So here I will retell this story as I internalised it.

Story of the Wise man

Once upon a time, in a quiet village, lived a young man with a burning desire to become wise. He had heard tales of an ancient sage, known simply as the Wise man, who possessed the knowledge of life's deepest secrets.

Determined, the young man set out to find the Wise man, seeking guidance for his journey to wisdom.

First Challenge: The Pursuit of Knowledge

Finding the Wise man atop a secluded mountain, the young man asked, "How can I become wise?"

The Wise man looked at him thoughtfully and replied, "Start with the pursuit of knowledge. Learn everything you can, but never become complacent."

Days turned into months, and the young man dedicated himself to learning. But soon, he felt stuck, his growth stalling.

Second Challenge: The Sharing of Wisdom

He returned to the Wise man and confessed, "I've learned much, but it feels empty."

The Wise man smiled and said, "Wisdom grows when shared. Teach others what you've learned. Let your knowledge flow like a river."

The young man followed the advice, sharing his wisdom. He became a beacon in his community, but eventually, the allure of power began to cloud his vision.

Third Challenge: The Ethics of Power

Back to the Wise man he went, troubled by his newfound influence.

The WISE man, understanding his dilemma, advised, "Power can be a seductive force. Use it responsibly and with compassion. Lead with your heart."

The young man embraced these words and became a leader admired for his integrity. Yet, as the years passed, he felt the shadow of age creeping upon him.

Fourth Challenge: Wrestling with Age

One last time, he sought the Wise man, now feeling the weight of years.

The Wise man told him, "The wrestling with age is relentless, but it's in this strugle that you become truly wise. Make it epic. Defy time and keep growing."

With renewed determination, the man accepted the challenge, realizing that wisdom was not a destination but a continuous journey.

Conclusion: The Wisdom of Life's Journey

In the end, the Wise man's guidance led the man through life's four great challenges. He learned that wisdom was not just about knowledge but about sharing, leading with ethics, and growing despite age.

His story is a reminder to us all that the road to wisdom is complex and winding but filled with invaluable lessons. Embrace the journey, seek guidance when needed, and never stop growing. The pursuit of wisdom is a path that enriches not only oneself but the entire world around us.
